Its purpose is for the students to find their giftings to help them fulfill their full calling as a disciple of Jesus Christ. The DTS is a six month journey in the Tenderloin neighborhood in the heart of San Francisco. This vibrant neighborhood is filled with a variety of people groups, individuals and families that are unreached with the gospel. The experience of discipleship through classroom, small groups and life in this place exposes you daily to the nations, and teaches you how to reach out and pursue justice for the lost.

A 10-week hands-on leadership experience that will empower you for wherever God might lead you. Whether you’re pursuing higher education, entering the workplace, or heading off into local and global missions, you will find yourself equipped to face the challenges of a world in need of Jesus.
This program is a chance for you to engage youth and people experiencing homelessness in an unconventional way. You'll get to host, guide, and serve alongside youth groups from across North America and the world, leading them into the heart of San Francisco in order to reach out and love a marginalized population. This is a chance to form the future of missions by leading the next generation.
Because Justice Matter’s Leadership Development Intensive

In this program, you will gain hands-on experience balancing the priorities of multiple ministries and departments in a rapidly growing organization whose ministries directly impact the lives of the women and children we serve. You will be an integral and equal part of our effective and committed BJM team. We are looking for motivated individuals who desire to immerse themselves in all aspects of ministry work and operations. With coaching and guidance from staff, you will gain experience and develop fundamental leadership skills in an urban ministry context through meaningful, ministry-driven work and non-profit management.
